Introduction

I’m Adam Verchinski and I created the EverydayTenacity website.

Why was EverydayTenacity.com created and what’s with the name?

The asset management / investment management industry is going through structural and exciting changes that will transform the industry as we know it. Due to the opportunities that a changing industry presents, I believe it is important to share my “on the ground” insights and experience from working within the industry.

Simply stated, this website was created with three goals in mind:

1. Provide original research and perspectives on the asset management / investment management industry

2. Highlight industry trends and news

3. Most importantly, by providing insight and useful content on the asset management / investment management industry, the goal is help you understand, share and tackle challenges and opportunities within the industry.

Why name the website EverydayTenacity?

One of my core strengths is the level of tenacity and personal commitment that I hold myself to, in both professional and personal endeavors. To be successful, I believe that you have to establish goals. Work towards those goals everyday… and do it with tenacity!

Background

My background includes over 11 years as a technology and management consultant working exclusively in financial services, on both the buy and sell sides.

Most recently, I have been working for the last 2 years at a leading global investment management firm that offers research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, individuals and private clients in major markets around the world. My passion for innovation, problem-solving and executing large, transformational technology-centric programs is now delivered through my technology and business analysis team which is responsible for the firm’s marketing and client communications.

In addition to my background and expertise in financial services, I also have a passion for golf and wine.
Since 1998, I have been building custom-fit golf clubs and for a number of years, owned and operated a company, NewTechGolf, in order to serve the golf fitting and repair needs in my local community. If you too share an interest in wine, my online profile can be found over at Corkd.com.
