Useful visual graphic encourages research and new thinking about social networks

Helping the Investment Management industry make sense of what’s heads or tails in the evolving and fast moving arena of social networks is just one of the types of topic covered here on EverydayTenacity.com. To further the conversation, I would like to share with you a useful graphic depicting a point-in-time view of the major social networks.

The second version of the Conversation Prism has been introduced by Brian Solis and Jesse Thomas. What I find most interesting about the ‘Conversation Prism’ is the way in which it encourages further research and bottom-up thinking about what social media can mean for an organization and individual. Brain Solis says it best in describing the ‘Conversation Prism’:

“…represents that opportunity to proactively survey the landscape to pinpoint relevant dialogue, prioritize participation strategies, and create an engagement hierarchy and org chart.”
