Are there enough Registered independent Investment Advisors for a dedicated Twitter channel?

Filed in Asset Management

Apparently, at least one investment management firm believes that enough Registered independent Investment Advisors utilize Twitter to invest in creating a new, dedicated Twitter channel.

In order to target the independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) community, Charles Schwab just launched a new Twitter channel @Schwab4RIAs. For those people who are in the RIA business or interested in learning about what it would take to go independent, they will be able to get news, insight, practice management tips, commentary and a host of other information through the new Schwab twitter account.

From twitter: @EverydTenacity Good Question. Planning for the future. Adoption for RIAs is low, but likely to grow over time. We hope to serve as a model.
